Hanna and Jake’s wedding color scheme of peaches, greens and blush had the most perfect beach-y lightness for their coastal wedding day in Hilton Head. They actually found their venue on Airbnb. It is a true gem situated right on the beach with views for the ceremony and a large raised dancefloor.
Jake and Hanna Lei met in Hawaii while working together at a restaurant. Their family and friends traveled from Ohio and Hawaii to be with them on their lowcountry wedding day.
Hanna surprised her dad with a personalized note on the underside of his tie.
Confetti ceremony exits are so fun!
I mean, wow. This day was colorful island paradise perfection.
Hanna Lei’s brother was DJ for the night.
As we were walking out onto the beach for portraits a rainbow appeared over the shoreline. Hanna Lei’s dad told us that in Hawaii that is considered a sign of blessing from God.
Hilton Head is a great beach to get married on because it tends to be less busy and crowded than some other South Carolina beaches. We fully took advantage of the empty beach in the evening as we were waiting for dinner to be served. One advantage of having a smaller wedding with close family and friends is having the flexibility to take portraits at sunset.
I have said it before and I will say it again, twinkle lights are always the right answer!
